My name is Lindsay Tanaka. Nice to meet you! I have loved photography since I was a child. I have mostly taught myself over the many years starting from getting my own disposable camera from the corner store, then getting a Samsung point and click digital camera during a trip to England, and most recently my Canon EOS Rebel T6. I have also had a video camera and other small cameras in the mix, as well as the use of my cellphone camera as they are starting to become very advanced in their technology. And let's face it, often times those are the ones we have on-hand most often whenever we are out and about. I am a photographer of opportunity. While I take time and care to achieve certain shots, I do not camp out for hours on end and as I am still learning the technical aspects of photography, I often just take a number of pictures, pick out the ones I like, and do a bit of post editing, rather than mess around with the array of features literally right at my finger tips. But with some help from fellow photographers and other people with creative minds, I am hoping to improve my craft and at the very least gain exposure (pun intended).
